In addition to this important milestone, during Business Year 2018, which ended on June 30, Standard & Poor’s assigned Baufest an RaA credit rating, enabling the issuance of two bonds totaling ARS 60 million on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange. These funds will be used to build a new development center in Argentina, representing an investment of approximately USD 2 million over an 18-month period. The new facility will expand the company’s existing office space from 2,300 m² to 3,000 m².

With a global workforce of 480 employees, Baufest delivered 198 projects for 82 leading companies during 2018 and welcomed 18 new clients, including Unilever, Kimberly-Clark, BBVA Banco Francés, Cablevisión, Coopeuch, Mapfre Vida, Falabella, Equifax, PedidosYa, ABCDIN, Camuzzi Gas, and Cabal.

To sustain its growth, one of the key priorities for Business Year 2019 (BY19) is the hiring of 100 new professionals, including digital transformation consultants, Data Scientists, Machine Learning specialists, Customer and User Experience experts, Scala, Ruby, Java, and .NET developers, database specialists with expertise in Spark, MongoDB, Hadoop, and MariaDB, software engineering professionals specializing in Lean and Agile practices, project managers, QA testers, and operations and cybersecurity specialists, among other disciplines and technologies.
